This foam filled pad is designed for jumping and falling activities and training special needs children to fall correctly (moro reflex).When the pad is resting there is a quantity of entrapped air and when you jump on the pad there is a slight bounce effect. If an additional outer cover is used, it is critical to align the vent holes by lining up the red webbing to allow the air to escape more easily to minimize this “bounce effect". Do not use this crash pad within 5 feet of a wall. Since jumping, flipping or bouncing involves some risk, it is mandatory that these Crash Pads be used with a trained professional in attendance.
